After successfully onboarding our first tenant onto a new multi tenant platform, we are scaling across brands and standardising how systems integrate. You will join a skilled engineering team that values autonomy, clean code and long term maintainability.

Job Description

As a Data Engineer for Platform Integrations, you will own the data mapping, transformation and validation flows that make each brand migration successful. You analyse source and target schemas, build robust pipelines in Python and SQL, and ensure every dry run and cut over is traceable, reversible and compliant with our quality standards.

Your key responsibilities:

• Analyse data models and map source to target schemas across multiple brands

• Build and maintain data transformation pipelines using Python and SQL

• Design and run dry runs with clear validation logic, logging and error handling

• Ensure data migrations are auditable, safe and reversible

• Collaborate closely with the integration architect, platform engineers and project management

• Create reusable templates, scripts and documentation for future migrations

• Identify data risks early and turn them into manageable actions for the wider team

What You Bring

 

• 4–7 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development or analytics engineering

• Deep knowledge of SQL and strong Python skills for building transformation pipelines

• Experience working with multiple database types and complex schemas

• Ability to design validation logic, detect inconsistencies and safeguard data quality

• A structured, calm and methodical approach to handling messy or legacy datasets

• Strong communication skills, able to explain decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Fluent English (Dutch is a plus)

• Based in the Netherlands (no IND sponsorship)

Terms of Employment

• Excellent salary up to 8.000 euro gross per month, depending on experience

• Pension scheme

• Hybrid setup: 2 days on site in Utrecht, 3 days remote

• Must be based in the Netherlands
